I have always had a passion for well being and health of the mind, body and spirit.
I started my journey as a therapist many years ago, when I trained as a counselling psychotherapist in 2010. I was drawn to psychotherapy as I have a keen interest in the workings of the mind. I have witnessed the impact that mental health can have on a person’s life, well-being and happiness. I find my work as a psychotherapist both rewarding and a privilege to support a person on their journey to heal and overcome their difficulties.
I learned from working with my clients that trauma not only has an impact at a mental level but also at a physical and energetic level. The memory of a trauma can become lodged in a person’s body at a cellular level and needs to also be treated at this level, to fully enable clients to move forward.
I became passionate to learn more about different techniques and methods to further help my clients deal with trauma, at all levels including physical, mental, emotional, bio-chemical and energetic. I trained as a Vibrational Medicine Practitioner, which is a unique and profound practice. It enables the energetic discord in a person’s body, created by trauma, to be identified and treated to facilitate the restoration of health.
I continued to further develop my practice and trained as a Kinesiologist with The Academy of Systematic Kinesiology. This is a powerful system which uses of muscle testing to tap into the bio-feedback of the body and identify what is needed to bring about repair and restore health, whether that be on a structural, biochemical, emotional and energetic level.
